National Day of the Child Opening Ceremony

On Monday, June 7th, IBESR hosted an opening ceremony for the National Day of the Child activities. Two children that LFBS work with had the opportunity to give a speech at the ceremony! These children are a brother and sister who were recently removed from an orphanage that has been shut down. Together, they went up in front of everyone to talk about their experience. Our LFBS social worker accompanied them to make sure they had all the support they needed during the event. We are so impressed with the bravery of this little boy and girl. Thank you to all of our amazing supporters who allow us to work to empower these incredible children. This couldn't happen without you!🏼
